WELCOME TO YOUR NEW GRAND MODUS/MODUS Introduction Congratulations on your choice - your Grand Modus/Modus has been created by RENAULT’s design teams to offer you maximum space and comfort. F R O N T A N D E N G I N E C O M P A R T M E N T 2 Screen washer fluid level Add some fluid in the reservoir if necessary. Coolant level The level indicated on the reservoir 2 should be between MIN and MAX. If it is necessary to top up this level, it is essential to do so when the engine is cold. Engine oil level You can check the oil level on the instrument panel. When the engine is started and for approximately 30 seconds, press either button 3 or 4. The oil level is displayed on the instrument panel. Refer to Section 4 of your driver’s handbook for the precautions to take when topping up the oil.

R E A R Parking distance control For equipped vehicles, the parking distance control measures the distance between the rear of the vehicle and any obstacles nearby. When approaching an obstacle during manoeuvres, the beeps become faster and then sound continuously when 25 cm from the obstacle. The system may be temporarily or permanently deactivated using the switch located on the dashboard (refer to your Driver’s Handbook). a b Emergency spare wheel winch/tyre inflation kit (depending on vehicle) For precautions when using the emergency spare wheel winch a or tyre inflation kit b, refer to chapter 5 in the Driver’s Handbook.
